"For Unto Us A Child Is Born"

Isaiah 9:6
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his Shem (Name) shall be called: Pele (Incomprehensible or Wonderful), Ya'ats (Counselor or Transformer), El Gibbor, (Mighty G-d or Chief G-d Man), Av Eternal (Everlasting Father), Sar Shalom (Prince of Peace)." AGI

Questions?

1. When was this "Child" Born?
2. Christmas? Hanukkah? or "Messiah-massa"?
3. What are we really celebrating on the dates of Kislev/Dec. 24th/25th?
4. Can we know when G-d's Holy Spirit overshadowed Miriam - Mary?
5. Was Messiah Yeshua born on the Feast of Tabernacles or was it Rosh HaShanah,
the third season and Head of the year?
6. And is it important to know the dates and what we are celebrating?
7. Why is the 24th of the ninth month such a pivotal date in the book of Haggai?

A Short Introduction
The debate over the timing of Yeshua's birth rages within scholarly circles. The fact that December 25th is linked to pagan ritualistic celebrations incorporated into the church, has been well documented. However, little information is circulated concerning the Haggai 2:18-19 celebration of the 24th of ninth month, or 24th of Kislev. In some years, the 24th Kislev is equal to our Gregorian calendar December 24th/25th. It is the purpose of this article to shed light upon the probable gestation of Yeshua, starting with the conception at 24th Kislev. Then 271 days later in a perfect Solar/Lunar year, Yeshua was born in 3 BC - the 1st of Tishri, which occurred on September 11, of 3 BC that year. That date was Rosh Hashanah (Yom Teruah), and Rosh Khodesh.

It was Dr. Ernest L. Martin book entitled, "The Star of Bethlehem: The Star that Astonished the World" that proves this date of Yeshua's birth to be true. However, the rest of this wonderful revelation was given to me by God's Holy Spirit as I asked Him to reveal to me His truth as I studied this conception subject for myself. Since my article was first put up on the web in 1997/1998, many others have drawn from it. Some in goodwill giving me credit for my work, while others claming it as their own revelation. I would like to thank Dr. Ernest L. Martin for his help. Dr. Martin died on January 16, 2002, we will dearly miss him, but know he is happy in the arms of our Savior and Lord. Dr. Martin revealed in his book, that the signs in the sky on the night of Jesus' birth outside the womb occurred on only one day in 3 B.C., and they occurred exactly on September 11, 3 B.C. between the hours of 6:15 pm and 7:49 pm EST. I hope to prove by my article and by the encoded words in Haggai 2:18-19, that the birth of Jesus in the womb took place on the Kislev/December 24th/25th.

A woman (Virgo) clothed with the sun...

September 11, 3 BC.

"A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman (Virgo) clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars;" --Revelation 12:1

Let me start by saying we are not going to answer the questions above one by one, but as a whole in this article. This study is not to show the background of Christmas or Hanukkah. It is not to prove or disprove anything about the pagan beginnings of Christmas. This article will from the start agree, Christmas is indeed a ancient pagan rite. No, this article is to show you what I believe the Hebrew Scriptures can show us about the date of the birth (impregnation in the womb) of Yeshua Messiah in a virgin maid named Miriam (Mary) some 2000 years ago. The above questions asked fall into this study, and hopefully will be answered by this two part teaching.

This article is long, but before you make your mind up, yea or nay on it, it is only fair to me if you read the WHOLE article. Part one is 19 pages, and part two is 20 pages. There are also links to help you as well.

Sidebar: I am dyslexic so you may find some mistakes in spelling and punctuation. And sometimes I tend to leave little words out of my sentences as well. Please let me know and I will fix them when I have time. As far as punctuation goes, I punctuation what I hear. I like using Capital Letters more then most people do, but it is always for accenting something I feel needs it. I also make things bold because I want you to really notice them. I no longer have anyone to help me revise and correct my articles before I put them on web, so if you would like to help me out (for free), please post me at address below. We have been asking the L-rd for help once again.

"I Believe"

I believe that what I am going to share with you is from El-ohim - G-d, and it is for you to study and pray about whether it be true or not. I know many who, believe Yeshua's birthday is the Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles). If you do not agree with me that's OK. However, to many of you I will be right on target as the Holy Spirit bears witness to your spirit, and as you study this subject out for yourselves. It is not my intention to persuade you to believe what I believe. My intent is only to share (with intent to prove) all that I believe has been given me from G-d. I am fully persuaded that Haggai 2:18-19 is a Prophecy of the date when Yeshua Messiah (the Foundation Stone and Chief Cornerstone) of the L-RD would be born i.e. planted in the womb of Miriam on that date.

Romans 14:5 tells us that "One man reverences one day above another: another reverences every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind."

My Witness (Testimony) from the New Covenant

I John 5:10
"He that believes on the Son of G-d has the witness in him: he that believes not G-d has made Him (G-d) a liar; because he believes not the testimony that G-d gave of His Son.

I ask you now to join with me in prayer:

"Avinue (Our Father), we come in the Name of Messiah Yeshua, Your only Begotten Son. And we ask You to give us eyes to see with, and ears to hear with. Particular that we may look at Your Word, the Living One, and know in our hearts Your Truth. Holy Spirit lead us to Yeshua who has been made all Wisdom and Truth to us. Give us a heart to see beyond any of man's traditions, and into Your heart alone. Amen."

Now I ask you to consider the following specific date as an "affidavit" from the Scriptures:

Haggai 2:18-19
"Do consider from this day onward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month; from the day when the temple of the L-RD was founded, consider: Is the seed still in the barn? Even including the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree, it has not borne fruit. Yet from this day on I will bless you." NAS

Haggai 2:18-19
"Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD'S temple was laid, consider it. Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you." KJV

Now according to Adah Guzman's Interpretation we read:

Haggai 2:18-19
"Consider (Mark; as from the heart) I pray, from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month (24th of Kislev/Dec.), from the day that the foundation (chief cornerstone) of the L-RD'S Temple was laid. Consider (Mark; again from the heart)! The seed (child - zehrah) is it yet in the barn? The grapevine and the fig, the pomegranate, and the olive tree, has not yet brought forth (produced; borne fruit- bring forth). Yet from this day will I bless." AGI

Adah Guzman also has a second interpretation of Haggai 2:18-19, which could be read as her more provocative rending. It should not be discounted, but studies out word by word.

Second interpretation of Haggai 2:18-19
"Consider as from the heart I pray, from this day above, from the 24th of Kislev/Dec., from the day that the Foundation (Chief Cornerstone) of the L-RD'S Temple was laid. Consider it again! The child or plant (zehrah - seed) is it henceforth in the barn (a feminine word, maybe an idiom for womb)? The grapevine (in type Messiah), and the fig tree (in type Israel as a cover), the pomegranate (fruit worn by the High Priest), and the olive tree (Israel in its fullness or season), has not yet borne fruit (bring forth - a term also for a child being born, see Matt 1:21) Of Him a day (season) to bless (to lift high) G-d." AGI

I told you this was provocative reading. There are some words in the above texts we need to enlarge on.

First let us look at the word "Consider." Strongs #3820 Leb - a form of #3824; the heart; also used fig. for the feelings, the will and even the intellect; likewise for the centre of anything. To mark, to care for, consider, stout-hearted, to heed, to understanding, to remember.

Our next word is "laid" which does not appear in the Hebrew text at all, but is implied by the text and so the translators put it in.

The next word is "foundation" - Strongs #3245 Yacad - a prim. root; to set (lit. or fig.); to found, to sit down together, i.e. to appoint, settle, consult, take counsel, to establish, foundation, instruct, laid; lay, ordain, to sure.

The next word is "seed" - Strongs #2233 Zeh'rah - from root word #2232; seed; fig. fruit, child, plant, posterity, yielding fruitful, seed-time, sowing-time.

The next two words are the same words in Hebrew, "brought and forth"- Strongs #5375 Nawsaw or Nacah - (Psalm 4:6 in Hebrew verse, nawsaw'; a prim. root; lift thou up, in a great variety of applications, lit. and fig. (as follows) accept, arise, bear up, bring forth, borne, carry (away), cast, contain, desire, ease, exact, exalt (self), extol, fetch, forgive, furnish, further, give, go on, help, high, hold up, honourable (+ man), lade, lay, lift (self) up, lofty, marry, magnify, needs, obtain, pardon, raise (up), receive, regard, respect, set (up), spare, stir up, yield.

The next word is most often translated "this or that" - Strongs #2088 Zeh - a prim. word; masc: this, that, he, hence, here, it (-self), now, or "of him."

Our next word has many meanings, "day" - Strongs #3117 Yowm - from an unused root mean. to be hot; a day, whether lit. (from sunrise to sunset, or from one sunset to the next), or fig. (a space of time defined by an associated term), age, always, chronicles, continually daily, birth of; evening, forever, season, perpetually, presently, since, space, then, or age.

And our last word to look at is "bless" - Strongs #1288 Barak - a prim. root; to kneel; by impl. to bless G-d, to praise, (as an act of adoration) to lift high G-d or man.

I would like you to remember Adah Guzman's provocative interpretation as we continue with this study. I do not believe it is to far fetched in light of all that is in this article. You will have to judge it for yourselves in the end. But for now please keep reading, we have only just begun.

Ok then, let us now do as the prophet Haggai tells us to do, "consider from the heart" the following about the Foundation Stone through Scripture:

Isaiah 28:16
"Therefore thus saith the L-rd G-D, Behold, I lay in Zion for a Foundation, a Stone (Eben), a tried (bohan) Stone (Eben), a precious (commonly accepted for its rarity) Cornerstone (Pinnah - pinnacle), a sure (establish), Foundation: he that believes shall not be confounded." AGI

I Peter 2:6
"For which reason also it is contained in the Scripture (Isaiah 28:16), Behold, I lay in Zion a Chief Cornerstone, elect, precious: and he that believes on "Him" shall not be disgraced."

I Peter 2:5-8 makes it clear that Yeshua Messiah is that Foundation Stone laid in Zion. Lets look at all the verses of I Peter 2:5-8 to get the full picture.

"You also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual Temple, an a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to G-d by Yeshua Messiah. For which reason also it is contained in the Scripture (Isaiah 28:16), Behold, I lay (establish) in Zion a Chief Cornerstone, elect, precious: and he that believes on "Him" shall not be disgraced. Unto you therefore which Believe "He" is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the Stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the Head (Rosh) of the Corner, and a Stone of stumbling, and a Rock of offense, even to them which stumble at the Word (Torah), being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed."

Isaiah 44:28
"That saith of Cyrus (a picture or type of Messiah in the Word), He is My shepherd, and shall perform all My pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the Temple, Thy Foundation shall be laid."

I Cor 3:11
"For no one can lay any Foundation other than the one already laid, which is Yeshua Messiah."

II Tim 2:19
"Nevertheless the Foundation of G-d stands sure (establish), having this seal, The L-rd knows them who are His own. And, let every one that names the Name of Messiah depart from iniquity."

The early Believers grasped, they understood that Isaiah the prophet was speaking spiritually of Messiah Yeshua, the "Sure Foundation of the L-RD!"

The Foundation Stone - "Eben Shetthiyah- a Pierced Stone"

This Foundation Stone - "Eben Shetthiyah" as it is so named, is the Stone having 7 perforations (pierced) through which mayim hayim - living water sprang. It was a symbolic Stone that represented the 7 "Eyes/Ayin" or "Fountains" of the Sevenfold Holy Spirit of G-d Isaiah 11:1. These 7 attributes or aspects as they are called, are of the "Person of the Invisible G-d" and are the "Lights of the Tree of Life," which was the Menorah. This is a sign of Messiah Yeshua. On the 8th day of the Festival of Dedication the priests including, and especially the High Priest were 'crowned' with there new life. This was represented by the bowls atop of the Menorah which received the oil, a picture of the fullness of the Anointing Oil, the person of the Holy Spirit of G-d.

A Hebrew Play on Words
"Eben i.e. Stone, = Ben i.e. Son"

The Hebrew word for Stone is "Eben," which is used by Yeshua as wordplay for Son meaning: "Ben." We see this when in Matthew 3:9; 21:42-44, Yeshua speaks about "these stones." Lets read these Scriptures:

"And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our Father: for I say unto you, that G-d is able of these stones (eben) to raise up children (sons) unto Abraham."

Matthew 21:42-44
"Yeshua saith unto them, Did you never read in the Scriptures, The Stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the Head of the Corner: this is the L-rd's (L-RD'S) doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The Kingdom of G-d shall be taken from you, and given to "a nation" bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall fall on this "Stone" (Eben - Son) shall be broken: but on whomsoever it (He) shall fall, it (He) will grind him to powder." AGI

Psalm 118:22-24
"that the Stone (Eben -Son) which the builders refused is become the Chief (Rosh-Head) Stone of the Corner. This is the L-RD'S doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is "the day" (Yowm) which the L-RD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it (Him)." AGI

Isaiah 8:14-16
"And He shall be for a Sanctuary (Temple); but for a Stone (Son - like Joseph was) of stumbling and for a Rock of offense to both the houses of Israel, for a gin (spring net) and for a snare (spring net) to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And many among them shall stumble (be offended) and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. Bind up the testimony, seal the Torah (G-d's instructions) among my disciples (the learned)." AGI

Isaiah 8:14-16 uses Hebrew parallelism many times to state this wonderful truth of the Foundation of the L-RD to us. So Scripture establishes (makes sure) that Messiah Yeshua is the Chief Foundation Stone i.e. Son that was laid or lay in Zion. If your a Believer in Messiah, you will agree that He is indeed the Foundation of the L-RD. Amen! If your still not sure, keep reading.

More Key Evidence
The Days Of Human Pregnancy

Mystics, Hebrew or Christian are not content to treat Biblical words as mere literary expression, expressions or idioms. For them every Biblical word is a spirit vehicle of Divine inspiration, and being somewhat of a mystic myself, I fully agree with them. We will now study a little about the cycle of pregnancy, with a mystic's eye.

The average or normal Human pregnancy (gestation period) is between 271 to 280 days. It is counted from the first day of the last menstrual cycle before conception. In the ideal Jewish year, one that would start exactly at the spring equinox with the first day of Nisan (Aviv) occurring right on the first day of Spring. Starting at Nisan 1 (March 21st) counting ahead 280 days in this ideal Jewish year, you would end up at the date of Kislev 25th (Dec. 25th). I found that date very interesting.

However, if conception began on the eve of Dec. 24th (Kislev 25th) in the idea Jewish year, and went forward 271 days, one would end up on the first day of Tishri or Rosh HaShanah. I found that date even more interesting because it is the birthday of Adam, the first Man. Adam was born on the 6th day, according to the Genesis account, and according to the oldest known Jewish sources that was Tishri 1, which I believe to be true. Since Yeshua is the second or really the "last Adam," it makes perfect sense for His birthday outside the womb, into this world, to be on the same day as Adams. I believe this because G-d is a G-d of order, pictures and patterns.

I Cor 15:45
"And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit."

Not only is Rosh HaShanah Adam's birthday, but it is also the birthday of Noah, and his triplet sons, Ham, Shem, and Japheth. All who are said to have been born on this same day. Also the Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were born on Rosh HaShanah, not to mention several of the Prophets of Israel. There are some Orthodox Rabbis who believe that the Messiah will come on Rosh HaShanah because this day is "Yom Teruah" - the Feast of Trumpets. These same Rabbis believe that the coming of Messiah, will be heralded by the "Trumpet of G-d," which will also raise the dead. Sound much like Rabbi Paul's teaching in the New Covenant. By the way, Messiah Yeshua was heralded by the Angel of the L-rd in His First Coming, as well as multitude of the heavenly host praising G-d and saying, Glory to G-d in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men, Luke 2:8-15.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52
"Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the Last Trump: for the Trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Yeshua died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Yeshua will G-d bring with him. For this we say unto you by the Word of the L-rd, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the L-rd shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the L-rd himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout (awake), with the voice of the archangel, and with the "Trump of God" - and the dead in Messiah shall rise first: Then we which are alive (not asleep) and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the L-rd in the air: and so shall we ever be with the L-rd. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

The Feast of Trumpets - "Yom Turah"
also has a very ancient name of "The Last Trump!"

Now, back to our calendar. Dec. 24th of 1997, which on the Jewish calendar was Hanukkah (Kislev 25th) to the eve of Sept. 20th 1998, which was Tishri 1 of 5758/Rosh HaShanah fit that ideal Jewish year of 271 days. We will look more at pregnancy when we look at part two "Haggai 2:18-19- Encoded Words " - for now take a look at the chart below. Remember 271 is a signpost for us.

Number of days in each Month

1. Dec. 24th was Kislev 25th - 8 days left

2. Jan - 31 days

3. Feb. - 28 days

4. Mar - 31 days

5. April - 30 days

6. May - 31 days

7. June - 30 days

8. July - 31 days

9. Aug. - 31 days

10. Sept. had 20 days to Tishri 1

More evidence - The Prophet - Haggai

Haggai is the second smallest book in the Hebrew Scriptures, Obadiah being the smallest.
Haggai has 2,336 Hebrew letters, 600 words, and just 38 verses, but it is a powerful little book, and it brings to us some great prophecies.

Let us consider the prophet Haggai, who's name means Feast or Festival. He is asking us to "consider or mark in our hearts" what he is saying. Now according to Haggai's prophecy, the foundation of the L-RD'S second Temple was laid in the earth on the 24th day of the 9th month. My questions to you are: "Was the greater glory of G-D, the Messiah? And was this "G-d's Foundation Son" laid in the earth like the prophecy of Haggai tells us, on the very same day hundreds of years later by the Holy Spirit?

The New Covenant teaches us "...first which is
natural; then that which is spiritual" I Cor 15:46. Lets look at more evidence before you make up your minds, remember I am fully persuaded it is.

A Little History

Haggai audience were post-exile Jews who returned to Jerusalem from Babylonia, the date being about 520 to 480 BCE. The theme of the prophet's work is "The greater glory of the second Temple, and a future day of blessing for Israel." The world power at this time was Medo-Persia (Ezra 5:1-6:15, Neh 12:16, Zech 1:1,7; 7:1,8). However, Haggai tells us plainly that this second Temple would be greater in it glory, why greater we ask? According to the Talmud, neither the Ark of the Covenant, the Shekinah Glory, nor the Urim and Thummim were present in the second Temple. The only reason for its Glory to be greater was because the Kavod (Zohar), i.e. the Brightness of Yeshua walked in it! He being the LIGHT OF THE WORLD. Now unbelievers would not agree with that statement, but it is the only truth that can be found in the prophecy of Haggai. History confirms the life of Messiah, and the Talmud lays out all that missing from the Temple of G-d.

Haggai 2:9
"The glory (kavod) of this second Temple shall be greater than of the former, saith the L-RD of hosts: and in this place will I give Shalom (Reconciliation, Peace, both Names for Messiah), saith the L-RD of Hosts." AGI

So history and the Talmud are in agreement then telling us that the second Temple was not as glorious, as was Solomon's Temple was. Solomon's was so yaphah (beautiful), and it had in it all the things that were mentioned missing above by the Talmud. Things that the second Temple never had. However the second Temple was greater because Messiah Yeshua, Emmanuel (G-d with us), walked, taught, healed, and prayed in it! Thus bring us His Shalom. Once again I will say, He is the greater glory, the Chief Cornerstone - the very Foundation of the L-RD on earth as He is in Heaven.

"The Righteousness One,
The Foundation Stone (Eben- Son) of the L-RD'S Temple,
Is 'Messiah Yeshua'"!

Again let me say it, I do believe the date for the second foundation stone to be laid was the date picked by G-d for His own Son's birth in the womb, on the earth. However, it would be in the right season that the true meaning for that dated prophecy to be revealed and fulfilled in the spiritual realm. Remember it is always the natural first; then that which is spiritual follows, I Cor 15:46. The spiritual is always higher than the natural by G-d's standards.

Therefore the birth of Messiah in the womb was predestinated, literally: "mark out beforehand" the foundation of the world. The Biblical date of the 24th of the 9th month, being the true commission date by G-d for the birth of the Eben - Son on the earth can be seen here. When the fullness of time had come, the Holy Spirit sent by G-d, poured out the Seed from the Father on a woman, so she would have Seed to fulfill the prophecy spoken in Genesis 3:15. Women do not have "seed," men have "seed." This therefore was a supernatural, a mystical occurrence!

Sarah, Rebekah, Leah, and Rachel, all conceived by the L-RD'S doing. These were different then Mary, but none the less mystical in their happening. What the L-RD is doing is setting a pattern in Scripture for us to see. It's not at all hard to believe a virgin conceived by the L-RD'S doing, no, not at all. When Sarah was 90 she conceived by Abraham who was 100. This was only done by the L-RD'S doing (Divine intervention)! So really, Sarah, Rebekah, Leah, and Rachel ALL conceived by Divine intervention, and keep that in mind as we go on...

Genesis 3:15
"And I will put enmity between you (Satan) and the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed; it (the Seed) shall bruise you head (authority), and you shall bruise His heel."

I base this date on being the right date by many factors. Lets consider some of them.

One of the main ones is that our G-d through the Scriptures, has always painted vivid pictures showing us His set patterns, and asking us to "consider the Scriptures." There is no reason to believe G-d left out such a very pivotal date in the life of His Son, or from the Holy Hebrew Scriptures. When we open up to His Word, we can see patterns that have been laid out for us before the foundation of the world. Plain patterns and pictures from the beginning to the very end...

The Binding of Isaac in Genesis chapter 22 is such a picture of G-d providing a Lamb for sacrifice. The Feasts of the L-RD in Lev 23 are wonderful pictures! When we celebrate them we see G-d's Holy plan laid out for us. But there is a catch, one must not have any preconceived beliefs rooted in prejudice or religion. Merely looking with Hebrew eyes will not help you see, no, one must have the Holy Spirit of G-d to see with. G-d will show you the Tabernacle in the wilderness is a very vivid pattern of Messiah, as well as the life of Joseph. Joseph's life is also a pattern of what Yeshua Messiah would go through. Being rejected by his own, yet loving his brothers who sold him into slavery. If one compares the life of Joseph with the life of Messiah Yeshua, one would see over 100 similarities. The same also goes for Moses life. The suffering Servant of G-d in Isaiah 53, and what he would go through on our behalf, also paint's a very powerful picture for us to see. It is beyond just mere coincidence, it's a G-d ordained picture show!

There are so many clear pictures and patterns to see, all one must do then is honestly study them out and compare them with the person of Messiah Yeshua. Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 tells us this great truth: "The thing that have been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the Sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? Nay it has been already of seasoned time, which was before us."

So then we must look deeper into His Word for all the seasonally patterns!

Plain Text - The Literal

By using the plain literal text we can see most everything. However the Hebrew letters, words, dates and even the verses are given to us by the Holy Spirit, who worked through these men to inspire them to write the revealed, as well as the unseen. Remember the secret or hidden things belong to our L-RD (Deut 29:29), but it is His good pleasure to reveal them to all seekers of Truth. These other secret or hidden things show us G-d's manifold richness, and the deep depth of truth from within His Holy Word, as we will see in part two of this study.

Key to remember: All things secret or hidden must line up with the plain literal teaching of the text, adding only to our understanding of El-ohim/G-d, and His Messiah, who "comes in the Volume of the Book" (Psalm 40:7-8). We should never throw out anything until we have honestly studied it out for ourselves, and prayed about it.

Touching the Number 271 again...

Now getting back to our early number of 271 for the cycle or the season of conception, which brings new life to the earth, let us consider the following information:

The Hebrew word HeRaYon - Pregnancy or Gestation has the same Gematria (the numerical value of the Hebrew letters) of the cycle or season of conception, 271.

Hey = 5, Resh = 200, Yod = 10, Vav = 6, Nun = 50, totaling = 271.

That is just the number of days from Kislev/Dec 24th to Rosh HaShanah in the idea Jewish year. If we think of this gestation period as a "season," we see there can be an "early rain of 271 days, or a latter rain of 280 days." This pattern fits very nicely I think. The number combination of 271 can also be seen in the pattern of Genesis chapter 1. Genesis chapter 1:1 has a Gematria total number of 2701.

click: The Creation Geometries to see more...

Genesis tells us the story of the earth and how it was founded by G-d saying "Let there be." So 271 (the zero does not count) is a key number or symbol that we should take note of. Can all this be coincidence, I do not believe so.
I do not believe in anything being a coincidence, only "Divine Intervention." I'll give more on the word HeRaYon - Pregnancy in part two of this article, for now just let this be a "seed planted"in your spirit.

Word and Number Pictures

As a side note or our first trail on our search for truth, let us look at some Word and Number pictures in Haggai verse 2 and 18. Can these numbers in Haggai paint for us a picture? Yes, and I pray you will see something wonderful here.

The Hebrew letter Bet is the second letter of the Hebrew AlephBet (click here for chart) and stands for the House of G-d, i.e. the Temple of G-d. The 18th letter of the Hebrew AlephBet is a Tsade and stands for Righteousness, Harvest, and is a picture of a "Fish hook." The number 18 also speaks to us Jewish people as being the number of Life (Chai). So a Word and Number picture of Haggai 2:18, (chapter and verse) could read as follows:

"The House of G-d, His Temple of Righteousness Harvests Life"

Yes, Messiah Yeshua does just that, He Harvests Life, and one of the Believers' signs is the Fish, and the Fish is known all over the world as a sign of Jesus Christ!!!

Now a Bet Tsade - 2 and 18 also spell a Hebrew word "clay, mire, mud." The first man, Adam was made of clay, (the dust of the earth). And David prayed, "Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters." Psalm 69:14

The Hebrew word Natsal, Strongs #5337 is a prime root used twice in Psalm 69:14. Natsal means: to snatch away, whether in a good or a bad sense: deliver, escape, without fail, part, pluck, preserve, recover, rescue, rid, save, surely take (out).

So the Bet Tsade teaches us that: "The House of G-d, His Temple of Righteousness that Harvests Life, also Delivers us from all the mire of this life."
This is who Yeshua is, and what He does for us!

Our Second Trail
Ezra - Nehemiah - Zechariah - Yahshua

Ok, now for our second trail, more evidence as to why I believe Kislev 24th is the right date for Messiah's life in the womb to have begun. Looking at Ezra for a moment, we see he called the people together into the heart of Israel, Jerusalem, on the 20th day of 9th month, Kislev, just four days before the inauguration would begin, Ezra 10:9. This was done in order to begin the separation of the unclean from the clean.

Then just after the walls of city of Jerusalem had been completed, which was on 25th of Elul, according to Nehemiah 6:15, it was not until the 3rd of Adar, near the end of the year according to Ezra 6:15, that the Temple would be completed. So from the 25th of Elul through the 24th of Kislev the examination of the priesthood was accomplished. This was a period of three months, and as we will see very important period for the priesthood. The word Kislev really means: Truth in heart, Hope, and Confidence. Kislev for most Jewish people around the world is the month they think of Miracles and Hope. And "Hope" is another Name for Messiah Yeshua. He is the "Hope of Israel!" - "Tikvah" Strongs #6960 - literally means: a cord (as an attachment expectancy, hope, live, thing that I long for. Messiah Yeshua is the "One" I long for, He is not only my Lord, but my Hope! Romans 15:13 tells us:

"Now the G-d of "Tikavh" fill you with all simcha and shalom in believing, that you may abound in tikvah, through the power of the Holy Spirit." --AGI

"Now the G-d of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." --KJV

Looking now at Zechariah and Yahshua (Joshua)
for a minute, we will see Zechariah can teach us something about this subject as well. Joshua (Yahshua - Yeshua) was made High Priest, but still, he was not the only priest to be admitted to the priesthood, there were others as well listed in Zechariah:

Zechariah 3:8-9
"Consider in your heart now, O Yahshua the Kohen Gadol (High Priest) you, and your fellows that sit before you: for they are men wondered at (a miracle sign): for, behold, I will bring forth My Servant the BRANCH (TSAMACH, a Name for MESSIAH). Behold the Stone (Eben) that I have laid (nathan - to give) before Yahshua; upon one Stone (Eben) shall be seven eyes/ayin: behold, I will loosen (engrave) the graving thereof, saith the L-RD of hosts, and I will remove (take away) the iniquity (sin) of that land in one day (a future day of restoration for Israel)." --AGI

It was during the month of Kislev that Nehemiah began to ask forgiveness for the people of Israel, and to ask the L-RD to rebuild the beloved Temple in Jerusalem, Nehemiah 1:1. Genealogies were very important to the priesthood, but afterward those who descended from Aaron sought to register their genealogies, but many were unable to provide the essential certification or proof of lineage needed to do so. Many were found to be blemished (unclean) and would have been the ones who would secure only dark colored robes as priests, instead of white ones. These dark colored robes were given them so they could be distinguish as "Levites," yet different from the other priests, and still different from the other tribes of Israel.

Now the 24 courses of the priesthood in Yahshua day, are not all named in Nehemiah 12:1-7. There are only 22 names that are listed, two are not known, and I'm not sure why at this point. But when I see the number 22, right away I think of the 22 letters of the Hebrew AlepBet. However, the 22 listed in Nehemiah 12:1-7 does speak a loud message to us.

Nehemiah 12:1-7
"Now these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Yahshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra, Amariah, Malluch, Hattush, Shechaniah, Rehum, Meremoth, Iddo, Ginnetho, Abijah, Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah, Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah, Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chief of the 24 courses of priests and of their brethren in the days of Yahshua High Priest."

Proverbs 22:1 tell us that: "A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favor rather than silver and gold."

Proverbs 22:1 is key to us. The following names listed I call, "The Bank of Names" will show us what I believe G-d arranged for us to see now. These priests who worn white robes would be names by their earthly fathers, yet today these names paint for us a wonderful Shemology for us to examine in this latter season of time.

In Nehemiah 12:1-7 there are two names we will not use in this Shemology. They will be the names of Zerubbabel or Shealtiel, because they are not part of the priesthood listed. However, we will use the name of the High Priest Yahshua, in the "Bank of Names." At the moment however, look at the two we will not use. The name Zerubbabel means: Born there, i.e. meaning "Babylon," in type Babylon stands for "the religious world" in the Scriptures. The Hebrew name Shealtiel means: I have asked of G-d. Now if we put these names together in a Shemology, you'd have this understanding:

"Born there, in the religious world, I have asked of G-d."

Galatians 4:4-5 came to my mind upon seeing that Shemology:

Galatians 4:4-5
"But when the fulness of the time was come (the right season), G-d sent forth His Son, made of a woman, born under the Torah, to redeem them that were under the Torah, that we might receive the adoption of sons."

Yeshua was born in Israel but in the days of Yeshua, the Torah of Moses had become a very strict narrow religious system. That is one reasons why G-d sent His only begotten Son in the world, to save it sin and from this religious systems. He would ask of G-d on our behalf, and G-d would grant Him what He asked. Remember, everthing in Scripture points to Meesiah, the Volume of the Book (Paslm 40:7-8). Zerubbabel by the way, is in type, a picture of the Messiah - the Anointed of G-d! The following is the 22 names in Nehemiah 12:1-7.

The Bank of Names - Nehemiah 12:1-7

1. Seraiah = Ruling with G-d
2. Jeremiah = Yahvah has appointed - Yahvah will rise or exalt
3. Ezra = My help or My assistance
4. Amariah = Yahvah has said - Yahvah has promised
5. Malluch = To be King
6. Hattush = Assembled; gathered together - Contending together
7. Shechaniah = Inhabited of the L-RD - Dwelling with Yahvah
8. Rehum = Compassionate - Beloved
9. Meremoth = Death by elevation; To rise - Myrrh of death - To be high;
10. Iddo = Timely blessing - To advocate; espouse
11. Ginnetho = Great protection - Gardener protects
12. Abijah = G-d is my Father
13. Miamin = On the right hand - From the right hand
14. Maadiah = Adorned of Yahvah
15. Bilgah = Reviving and bursting forth - Firstborn
16. Shemaiah = Yahvah has heard - Heard of Yah -
17. Joiarib = Yahvah will compete - Yahvah will contend
18. Jedaiah = Praise thou Yah
19. Sallu = Be lifted up of the L-RD
20. Amok = Incomprehensible - Unsearchable - Unfathomable
21. Hilkiah = The L-RD who is my portion - G-d is my portion
22. Jedaiah = Praise of Yah - Yah has known - Known of Yah
Plus - Yahshua, the High Priest = Yah saves; i.e. Salvation - a Saviour

The Shemology of Nehemiah 12:1-7
Putting it all together!

Now when you pick from what we have coined, "The Bank of Names" to make a sentence (a pronouncement), you may sometimes use two meanings of one name, this is entirely kosher to do. It is like the parallelism that we find throughout the Hebrew Scriptures. Remember that early we mentioned this in quoting Isaiah 8:14-16. Now when you put these names into a sentence (a pronouncement), you would use small words to help with the understanding, like any translator would do. You would end up with something like this below. It is almost like working out a spirit led crossword puzzle, and when you hit on the right words, it will yield a wonderful message with wonderful insights. These insights pointing always to Messiah, the One who comes in "Volume of the Book" Psalm 40:7-8. To G-d be the glory! Let us see what these names can declare and reveal about Messiah to us:

"Ruling with G-d, Yahvah has appointed my help. Yahvah has promised to be King! Assembled; gathered together, inhabited of the L-RD, the Compassionate, my death by elevation; to rise, to advocate great protection. G-d is my Father, I am on the right hand adorned of Yahvah. Revive and bursting forth Yahvah has heard and Yahvah will contend. Praise thou Yah, be lifted up of the L-RD! Incomprehensible is the L-RD who is my portion, Praise of Yah; Yahshua!" (Italics words mine)

I added six little words to this pronouncement in italics, and I will add no real commentary at this time to this Shemology. However, I will say this much about it. These names of the priests speak loudly of one person, Messiah Yeshua! Messiah is pictured here as being inhabited of the L-RD, the Compassionate, the Holy Spirit. His death was by elevation on a cross, and then when risen from the dead, He advocates great protection for all who Believed on Him. We know He sits on the Fathers right hand, and we also know He is adorned of Yahvah, the Incomprehensible G-d. Need I say more? If you cannot see this picturein these names, please write or call me, I want to pray with you and ask G-d for you to be given Divine sight.

Sidebar: Now let me point this out about the 24 Elders, in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 4:4
"And round about the Throne were 24 seats: and upon the seats I saw 24 elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold."

These "elders" are representative of the "fellows" mentioned by the prophet Zechariah (Zechariah 3:8-9). Believers often say that these are representative of the 12 major prophets of Israel and the 12 apostles, but I think this is incorrect teaching. These names they designate the members of the 24 courses of the priesthood who sit with High Priest. This would be more inline with G-d's plan for the future priesthood. Nonetheless, I also believe there are seats i.e. thrones, for the prophets of Israel - as well as the 12 apostles. What we see in Revelation 4:4, I do not believe are these thrones. We will have to wait and see if I'm right on this point.

The 24th of Kislev a Key Date

The anointing (mashached) of the foundation stone "eben shetthiyah" also occur on 24th of Kislev. This is once again a very specific date, and one more pattern to look at. Then just one day later on the 25th of Kislev, Yahshua was crowned the High Priest with a mitre on his Head (Rosh), and given His clothing made of white linen. It is this that the High Priest would wear, see Zechariah 3:5. The anointing (mashached) of the foundation stone "eben shetthiyah" was set before High Priest in the Chamber, the inward part i.e. Chupah, as he was given his position of being the High Priest.

According to Nathan Kaplan:

[This "corner" stone was a part of G-d's pattern and APPOINTED BY HIM as the "keystone" of the temple. It had been "tried" structurally and has even become damaged, but it still exists today in one piece -The most interesting thing the Bordeaux Pilgrim tells us about this stone is this: "AT THE SIDE OF THE SANCTUARY THERE IS A PIERCED STONE". It served as the "landmark" or "marker" of the Temple grounds. It had become the supporting corner stone (keystone) that held Solomon's laid foundation together to the "sides of the north". As a matter of fact, the Hebrew word for this "corner" stone in Psalm 118:22 is Panah meaning especially "TO MARK", like a boundary stone -Furthermore, it was situated near the Tavi (Tadi or Tav) Gate - ta diy' meaning "of the mark" and also means "to mark", "nail", "tent peg", "signature", "to imprint". Likewise, the office of the Captain was over this area. Remember, the Captain of the Temple was, in fact, called the "NAIL" in the sure and established place. "Nail" is one of the meanings of Tav. It marked the northwestern boundary of the Temple along which the partition wall ran, and the place of the "shamar" (or place of "observation" - "to mark"; i.e. the "Great Watchtower"). I also believe this "Corner" (Panah) Stone will become the Rosh Stone (King's Stone) of the rebuilt Temple. It "marked" the separation between consecrated and unconsecrated ground where there was a "tomb".

Sidebar: Nathan Kaplan article is very fascinating, I may not agree with all of it, but I do agree with a lot of it. If you have ever studied the Temple, you will want to read this. http://www.templemount.org

Zechariah chapter 4, then goes on to describe by symbolism (pictures) the Foundation Stone on which stood "Tree of Life." This is the place from which the High Priest is to receive his "nourishment." Think about that a minute and what a true picture of Yeshua that truly is!

"As the navel is set in the centre of the human body, so is the land of Israel the navel of the world... situated in the centre of the world, and Jerusalem in the centre of the land of Israel, and the sanctuary in the centre of Jerusalem, and the holy place in the centre of the sanctuary, and the ark in the centre of the holy place, and the foundation stone before the holy place, because from it the world was founded." Midrash Tanchuma, Qedoshim. This to me is an awesome quote!

The Menorah - More Evidence

Our oldest symbols, the symbol of the Jewish faith, is the Menorah. A seven-branched candelabrum used in the Holy Temple of the L-RD. The Kohanim lit the Menorah in the Sanctuary every evening and then cleaned it out every morning. They replaced the old wicks by putting in new ones made of the same fabric as the priests' garments. The priests' garments were the swaddling clothes used in Luke 2:7. Now fresh olive oil was put atop its bowls. The true symbol of the Nation of Israel is therefore the Menorah, for the Nation of Israel shall be "a light to the Nations" (Isaiah 42:6). The Menorah vision in Zechariah 4:1-6 tells us by the Word of the L-RD, one of the most important truths in Holy Scripture. It is "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit saith the L-RD." This is a powerful words for us to remember.

The lamps that stand in today's Synagogues, are called the Ner Tamid - The Continual lamp or The Eternal flame, they are to symbolizes the Menorah that stood in the Temple.

The Menorah becomes a picture of the invisible Holy Spirit with His 7 Fountains, which circulate from the bowls atop the 7 pipes Fountains. Only the L-RD, the Eternal Light of Life, who is the Incomprehensible Eternal Being, can bring forth all things to fit so perfectly together for us to see. The "Anointed" was anointed (mashached) by the person of the Holy Spirit, He is true Light of Kislev/Dec 24th/25th.

The Third Trail:
Bible Codes in Haggai 2:18-19
Encoded Words in Part Two

Before we go on to part two, I want you to read this important note from VJRI (Vendyl Jones Research Institutes):

The Prophets and Jewish Sages, centuries ago, knew and wrote of these obscure Torah Codes. They, laboriously, unlocked some of the Torah Codes long before the advent of computers. I Chronicles 12:32 (33) reads: "...the children of Issachar, which were men of knowledge and understanding of (the value) the letters to tell the times to know what Israel ought to do."

In the writings of Flavius Josephus it describes the TORAH CODES "...the 'Essenes' (at Qumran) as having the gift of Prophecy. They had knowledge to give numerical values to letters (gematria). Then they exchanged certain letters with other opposite letters (temurah). Then, by a secret process of mathematical aphorisms of the Prophets, they could not only predict the details of the fulfillment of a Sacred Writing, but could determine the exact time of the prophecy's fulfillment with astute accuracy. Rarely, if ever, did their predictions prove wrong."

(The above source is from VJRI. I do not agree with all of VJRI teachings nor some of their conclusions about Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ), but VJRI is still worth getting and reading.)
